Connecticut Probate Solutions LLC was founded by David DeGrasse, who began his career as a trusts and estates paralegal in 2009. Since that time, he has worked closely with attorneys in the areas of Trusts and Estates and Estate and Tax. David started Connecticut Probate Solutions LLC (CPS) to provide professional and cost effective, fiduciary accounting and tax preparation services for attorneys across the state with their estate and trust matters. CPS has the capabilities and experience to handle probate files from start to finish, or provide on-demand legal support, on an as-need basis. CPS offers the following legal assistance to attorneys in Connecticut: preparation of federal and state estate tax returns (Forms CT-706, CT-706 NT, US-706, US-709), probate administration, trust administration, estate planning support, and preparation of fiduciary accountings.

Hello and thank you for your interest in Connecticut Probate Solutions LLC.
I jumped into trusts and estates as an entry-level paralegal in 2009 and have almost exclusively been settling estates and trusts since then.
I have worked on the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates, at both State and Federal levels, for many years. My experience has amassed from work on a wide range of probate issues and estates that have included a myriad assets, including real and personal property, publicly traded stocks, alternative investments, bond holdings, closely-held businesses, safe deposit boxes, motor vehicles, digital assets, and more. You name it, I’ve likely gotten it through probate. My experience as a probate paralegal in Connecticut has lead me to gain an institutional knowledge of the Connecticut probate court system, its ever-evolving procedures, and the necessary steps required to settle matters expeditiously and according to proper procedure.
I am forever passionate about helping those in need and have come to realize that I get to do that daily as a probate paralegal by helping ease some of the burden that families must endure after the loss of a loved one. As self-proclaimed “worker bee,” I pride myself in my ability to deliver results quietly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
